Chicago - Home of the World Series Champions!

Chicago – the Windy City – the City by the Lake – and the home of the 2016 World Series Champions the Chicago Cubs! While Katy didn’t officially live in Chicago until 2003 when she started college at Northwestern, she always considered Chicago a second home. Her parents grew up in the western suburbs - mom Linda was born and raised in Bensenville; and her dad Bill moved to Wood Dale in middle school. The Rosner clan made yearly visits to Chicago during the summertime to visit her Grandma and Grandpa Martinek and Aunt Shirley, Uncle John, and cousins Joy & Drew.

Katy moved into the city of Chicago after graduating college in 2007 with roommates Michelle and Nikki. She formed lifelong friends with her ‘start class’ at Deloitte, bonding quickly during long hours of new hire training in Dallas, and right here in Orlando! Katy loved living in Chicago and met Diego while working on the same project in the suburbs of the city. Diego eventually convinced Katy that the winter weather in Chicago is not fit for human habitation, and after nearly 13 years living in Chicagoland, Katy packed her bags and drove down south with her fiancé.
