With close to one million inhabitants, Culiacan is one of the most populated cities in the northwest of Mexico. Culiacan is also the capital of the state of Sinaloa and the city where Diego studied his bachelor degree. Diego studied Computer Science at the Monterrey Institute of Technology.
His graduation was in May 2007, and he was a speaker at his graduation ceremony. It is worth noting that his entire batch was 3 students! As you can imagine, the Computer Science bachelor is not one of the most popular degrees at the Monterrey Institute of Technology. But since Diego attended his first Programming Language course at the age of 12, he knew exactly what he wanted to study during his college years.
Katy had the opportunity to visit Culiacán and snapped this photo with the city's new, let's call it mascot, Morrín which is a short form of a Sinaloa slang for dude or boy.
